If position, style, luxury, special features, air conditioning and private swimming pool matter for your stay in Brisbane, then this is without doubt one of the best homes available. This deceptively large home sleeps 15, or rent just one self contained level for a smaller group (conditions apply). The upper level has 4 spacious bedrooms and multiple common areas with a wrap around verandah - Queensland style. Or perhaps the lower level suits you better with sparkling pool and contempory furnishings. Need more space than just one level? Then the middle level can be taken with the upper or lower floors and you can still enjoy total privacy from each other. If it's a holiday home you are seeking, then go one better - choose to holiday in your home. 

LAMBERT HOUSE has all the features of a classic Queenslander without compromising the comforts of today's living. The upper level was one of Kangaroo Point's classic homes. Relocated on the block, the home still retains all the features Queensland homes are famous for and are envied by the cooler states that don't suit this beautiful architectural style.  High ceilings, tongue and groove walls, polished timber floorboards, multiple french doors opening to wide wrap around verandahs, ornate fanlights above doorways - and the intangible 'vibe'. When the home was moved to make way for units, the previous owner took the opportunity to build in under with a sleek, contempory open plan oasis. From the auto operated fountain in the foyer, to the generous tiled entertainment space opening through bifold glass doors to the pool area and Japanese inspired garden this space invites good times. Complete with remote controlled waterfall feature, tree lighting and the vergola all weather overhead blinds, (also remote controlled), you won't need, nor want to leave. Ducted air con throughout.

The home is only 1km from the city centre. You can enjoy the 7min stroll to our city’s free river ferry called the City Hopper which will take you to 6 inner city stops including South Bank, or keep on trekking to appreciate Brisbane’s most popular and scenic walk around the Kangaroo Point cliffs, have a paddle in a hire kayak, continue on past our top riverside inner city eateries and finish with coffee in the Botanical Gardens cafe. Or perhaps you would prefer to collect your City Cycle from 3 minutes away and explore Brisbane by bike?

Extravagant in style and space. Centrally located.  Stepping into the spacious house is akin to going to a designer showroom – immaculately coordinated and tasteful selection in colours of the furniture to chinaware in the kitchen cabinets. We have enjoyed our stay and wished to spend more time if not for having to rush to catch an early flight. Thank you Jen for having us to stay at your lovely house to end off our holiday with splendour.

This level is the original Queenslander style home with private access via front door with keypad entry.

Sleeps 8 people in 5 beds

There are 2 separate lounges so the adults and children can enjoy their own spaces. Formal lounge features a fireplace and the informal has the large flatscreen smart TV. Large kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, Nescafe pod coffee maker, ample storage and quality appliances.The wrap around verandahs with BBQ and outdoor lounge and dining settings, allow you to enjoy the outlook through the branches of the beautiful poinciana tree. It is surprisingly quiet on the front deck for such an inner city location. 

2 bedrooms / 1 bathroom / 1 powder room + sleeping alcove option + pool

Private access to lower level is via side gate using keypad entry. This level has a more contemporary feel and is an entertainers delight. If you choose this level, you have exclusive use of the pool inbuilt BBQ and surrounds.

Sleeps  people in beds 

This fully self contained level enjoys total privacy from upper floor and middle section. Generous living areas open to the private pool and BBQ area via large bifold doors. There is an outdoor dining setting for 8 and the Japanese styled pathway leads to the outdoor lounge retreat area. It has a smaller kitchen with dishwasher. Microwave/convection bench top oven and inbuilt convection hotplates.
NB preference given to whole home rentals, this option mainly available for last minute bookings.

This level is a converted triple garage. These spaces can be used as a games/extra spaces areas with either the upper or lower levels. The double garage is converted to be used as a rumpus room with large screen TV for DVDs and games consoles. It has a split system air con. In the larger section is a queen bed and 2 x twin single lounge seats. This opens onto the single lock up garage with remote control.

Calendars are accurate, however it’s always worth asking if your preferred property is available, as some bookings are under our Best Fit Policy. This means guests are willing to move to another home, that may even include moving to another property in our Brisbane network.

  • Booking not confirmed until 50% deposit paid
  • Balance due 30 days before arrival
  • Arrival after 3pm Departure before 10am
  • No parties allowed
  • No audible noise after 10pm Mon-Thur or 11pm Fri/Sat
  • Pets not allowed in carpeted areas nor on furniture
  • There are certain conditions that apply to short stays in Brisbane.

You will be given the possible houses available for your dates and if there is any home that does not suit, let us know and we will make a decision as to whether we are in a position to make an offer. In the event your first choice home is not available and the new one offered is less expensive, you will be charged the lower rate. If the home you are offered is more expensive, you will not be charged extra for the upgrade. WIN!
