Welcome to Rylance Homes – a family-run business where personalized service and genuine care are at the heart of everything we do.

Jenny and Tim Rylance have been in the accommodation industry since the early 2000s. In 2011, they founded Rylance Homes, originally focusing on student room rentals. Alongside this venture, they ran another successful business offering audio-visual hire equipment (now sold). While the student accommodation side thrived, the pair soon saw an opportunity to branch out into short-term rentals. Long before platforms like Airbnb and Stayz were available in Australia, they began offering fully furnished properties, quickly realizing the higher yields with the added management required.

As the years went by, Jenny and Tim shifted their focus to medium-term accommodation, a niche they’ve now mastered. Today, Rylance Homes stands as the only Queensland-based business specializing in this space, proudly offering tailored, hassle-free stays for those seeking longer-term housing solutions in Brisbane.

In 2023, the next generation of Rylances joined the family business. Billy Rylance, their son, has returned after an 8-year stint in London, where he worked as a Global Sales Manager. His wealth of international experience is already making a difference, and we’re excited to see where his leadership will take the business. Billy also manages his own dual-living property in London on the short-term rental market, further strengthening his expertise.

Meg Rylance, the other member of the family, currently resides in Sydney and, while not directly involved in day-to-day operations, she’s eager to team up with her brother in the future. We're confident she’ll soon be back in the greatest state of all—Queensland—to continue the family legacy.

Of course, no Rylance household is complete without our beloved Spice Dogs – Chilli and Basil, our cheeky black and tan dachshunds. We understand that pets are family too, and we’re more than happy to accommodate yours!

What We Offer

At Rylance Homes, we provide a unique opportunity for guests to experience life as a local in Brisbane. Our fully furnished homes are ideal for groups of 1 to 20 people and are located in sought-after inner-city areas, including Kangaroo Point, Auchenflower, Woolloongabba, Greenslopes, Sherwood, Manly, Nundah, Durack... and we’re expanding all the time.

What sets us apart? We offer a comprehensive service that takes the hassle out of temporary living. Our family handles everything, including:
